IBI is pleased to announce the 2022 Boat Builder Awards will return to its traditional home at the spectacular National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam on Tuesday, 15 November to recognise companies and individuals who are driving the marine industry forward through design, innovation, collaborative working, environmental responsibility, marketing and personal achievement.
The event, now in its eighth year, is jointly run by IBI and METSTRADE, in association with headline sponsor Raymarine. The Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement provide a fitting finale on the first day of the world’s largest gathering of marine leisure and superyacht businesses, after two years of more limited opportunities to participate in key industry gatherings.
Tickets are now on sale with the option to purchase individually – or in tables of 10 – with an unforgettable opportunity to take part in an evening of celebration and networking with colleagues and new industry contacts.
The Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement will commence after the METSTRADE show closing, Tuesday evening at 18.15, with guests invited to board classic canal boats directly from the RAI Exhibition Center, taking them to the Maritime Museum via Amsterdam’s charming canals.
The canal cruise provides fantastic networking opportunities on board where bubbles and canapes will be served while taking in the Amsterdam’s sights by night. Sponsor of the pre-dinner activities, Highfield Boats, will then ensure guests arriving at the beautiful National Maritime Museum can enjoy further catch-up time with friends and colleagues at the welcome drinks reception.
At 20.15, guests will take their seats in the historic courtyard of the Museum, protected by a star-studded glass canopy inspired by the compass lines scribed on historic nautical charts. Attendees will experience a three-course dinner, a variety of entertainment acts, and of course the awards ceremony itself, featuring boat builders, their supply chain partners and boat building professionals across ten categories. In a new first for the event, the evening will wrap up with “after party” with DJ, dancing, bar service and more networking.
In light of the exciting innovations across all aspects of boat building, this year’s Boat Building Awards is not to be missed. Tickets can be purchased online and are offered on a first come, first serve basis.
Individual tickets are priced at just €275 plus VAT with tables of ten at €2,750 plus VAT.
