French consortium produces pioneering thermoplastic hydrofoils

The partners of the Infinite Foil project have developed a wing made from recyclable thermoplastic, with the ambition to be suppliers to the next round of IMOCA racing in 2026.

As part of a project exploring the use of recyclable hydrofoils for ocean racing, a new type of foil with built-in sensors is being developed by the Minilab platform.
