The Moody brand has undergone major changes following Premier Marinas' acquisition of AH Moody & Son in December last year.

The key change has been a name change, as Moody Yachts International became Premier Yacht Sales incorporating Moody Yachts, The Premier Brokerage (formerly Moody Brokerage), and the sole UK distribution for Elan Yachts.

Premier Marinas' head office team has moved to former Moody headquarters in Swanwick, after a cosmetic revamp of the building. Swanwick Marina, formerly Moody's marina, is also undergoing a facelift, but the longest running Used Boat Show will continue to run there for its 27th edition as the Premier Used Boat Show from September 15-24, 2006.

The Moody brand, along with the Elan range, will continue to be sold at Swanwick, as well as used boats from the brokerage and Moody parts. Later this year, the distributor will also be launching the new Rob Humphreys-designed Elan 340.
