Lithium-sulfur technology could extend battery range, efficiency

Researchers in the US at Florida International University (FIU) have developed lithium-sulfur battery technology they claim tackle the weaknesses of the more traditional lithium-ion (LI) variety with a lighter, cheaper, and more energy-dense alternative, potentially extending Electric Vehicle (EV) range and improving charging efficiency.
