It’s not too late to enter the
8th Annual Boat Builder Awards

This is an undeniably busy time for the industry as boat builders and suppliers across the globe gear up for the new model year and all-important autumn show season where they will unveil the latest concepts, innovations and technologies wrapped up in the raft of new products and services aimed at making boating easier, safer, and more engaging to a rapidly expanding customer base.

To provide the widest possible scope for recognizing the companies and individuals behind the rapid advancements taking place across boat building, the 8th Annual Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement – jointly run by IBI and METSTRADE, in association with Raymarine – has extended the Nomination Deadline to 28 September 2022.

Launched in 2015 and held annually in Amsterdam in conjunction with the METRADE Equipment Trade Show, the Boat Builder Awards were precisely designed to highlight and honour those driving the marine industry forward – through design, innovation, collaborative working, environmental responsibility, marketing, and personal accomplishment.

Taking place on 15 November, this year’s awards return to the impressive Het Scheepvaartmuseum (National Maritime Museum) to bring the industry together for a night of first-class networking and celebration while honouring boat builder excellence.

2022 Boat Builder Awards

Awards will be presented in 10 categories, three of which will be entirely new for 2022 to enhance recognition of sustainability developments and the key role of designers within the sector.

One need only look at a few of the new boats and integrated equipment solutions being introduced to the market – this month at the Cannes Yachting Festival and at other international shows taking place in the runup to METSTRADE – to identify worthy candidates for this year’s awards.

Although the deadline for entries has been extended, businesses are encouraged to submit their nominations as soon as possible to ensure the judges have maximum time to evaluate entries in what is sure to be a crowded field.
