Salvaging EV batteries for second-life use

Allye Energy has developed the MAX 3000kWh mobile battery storage system that re0uses good quality EV batteries from relatively new but written off EVs. This type of powerwall could act as a 'sponge' for renewables at a marina.

According to sources within the automotive industry, there will be over 100 million EV batteries reaching the end of their service life globally over the next decade. The good news is that these batteries can find a second life in marine propulsion, or as powerwalls (containerised power storage) at marinas.
